ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Jeff Beck, Founding Partner and CEO of East Side Mags, LLC is a comic book store that deals in new and used comics, graphic novels, toys, games, apparel, independent art, cards.

Jeff requested brand development in the form of a logo design to be functional for branding, clothing and a store font.

He specified a color scheme of dark red, white, green, black and yellow – backgrounds should be either white or black. Design requested was an illustrative/combination mark that fun, colorful, with a punk rock feel/style that targets males, females and kids in a range of 20 – 35 and 35 – 55.

ESM works with products from Marvel, DC Comics, Image Comics, IDW, and independent artists both locally and globally. East Side Mags is a place for fun, bringing a sense of community where people are invited to hang out and talk about comics, art, stories, meet artists and writers, discover new music and comics from local artists.
